    Today no.
Yesterday at closing...bought CCT at 1.73.
Yesterday also bought 600 shares in DBS at 28.49.
She closed at 28.70 but I didnt take profits.
Thought today if got gap up then I throw back.
This is the 1st time ever that I bought only 600 shares in one trade.
Just nice...cross $15 for com so no minimum com issue.
I may buy 5 to 10 lots. So wanna take it slowly 600 shares at a time in the hope that I get a better average price
becoz she may well break 28.00 to head towards 27.50 or lower. In the weeks ahead, we can expect more
volatility as markets head nearer to FOMC Meeting on 20th and 21st Mar.

    DBS...

Her price action today is not as weak as last two days. If her price action has remained the same like last 2 days, she should have reached 28.20 by now.
But she hit Day Low at 28.41 and then rebounded to 28.50 : 28.51.
    Now at 28.49 : 28.50.

Wall Street is flushing out weak holders.
In which case, one more nite of fall to make it 3 days in a row to force the hands of
weak hands plus to trigger the stop loss of traders to follow the tide and throw back.
After that Friday nite rebound led by shortcovering ahead of the weekend.

For a long time, I have been saying that Noble is a shit stock.
It now appears that Noble is much worse than shit.
Just like I was saying that Ezion is a shit stock.
For those of you who do not know, trading in Ezion's shares has been suspended at the request of
the management for more than 6 months already whilst the management tries to get creditors to
agree to a rescue plan. People who are vested in Ezion all cow bear cow bull becoz their money is
stuck and they cant do anything about it.

(Feb 28): Holders of Noble Group Ltd.’s perpetual bonds joined forces to oppose the embattled commodity trader’s US$3.5 billion ($4.6 billion) restructuring plan.

The group, which says it collectively holds more than 25% of the perpetual bonds, has hired lawyers Latham & Watkins LLP to negotiate a better deal or "exercise remedies" against the Hong Kong-based company, according to a statement sent by Kevin Wu, portfolio manager at Pinpoint Asset Management Ltd. in Hong Kong, one of the holders.

Perpetual bondholders would receive a US$15 million payment in exchange for notes with a face value of US$400 million under the proposed restructuring plan that was unveiled last month. That’s seen as a raw deal for perpetual holders given equity investors will retain 10% of shares in the new company.

A spokesperson for Noble in Singapore referred requests for comment to an external public relations firm in London, which didn’t reply to an email seeking comment out of normal business hours. A representative at Latham & Watkins’ external public relations company said the firm couldn’t comment.

Noble and its largest creditors are now rushing to push through the restructuring as it faces the maturity of US$379 million in bonds on March 20, while its trading performance continues to disappoint. The company is set to report an annual loss of almost US$5 billion later on Wednesday.

"The proposed restructuring is effectively a liquidation of the existing company that disregards the priority of the claims of the Perpetual Securities holders over the rights of the shareholders," the group of perpetual holders said in the statement. The holders plan to "negotiate a revised restructuring or, if necessary, exercise remedies against Noble and its management," they said.
    Exercise Remedies

It didn’t say what remedies could be available if Noble doesn’t improve the deal. The phrase is often used to refer to the legal right of creditors to seek payment if a company defaults on its obligations.

Any significant change to the perpetual bonds requires approval of 75%, meaning that the group holds a blocking stake. However, Noble is planning to move assets from Bermuda-incorporated Noble Group to a new company if perpetual bondholders reject the US$15 million offer, Bloomberg reported earlier this month, leaving them as investors in an empty shell.

The group of perpetual bondholders joins Goldilocks Investment Co., Noble’s fifth-largest shareholder, in publicly opposing the plan. In a statement earlier this month, Noble said it had backing from about 51% of senior creditors for the restructuring.

Noble Group’s perpetual bonds dropped 0.15 cent on the dollar Wednesday morning to 7 cents, according to Bloomberg-compiled data. The firm’s 2020 and 2022 bonds were slightly higher while the 2018s edged down.

SINGAPORE (Feb 28): Venture Corporation reported record full-year earnings of $372.8 million in FY17, doubling from its profit of $180.7 million a year ago as revenue hit the $4 billion mark.

For the 4Q period, Venture’s earnings more than doubled to $143 million from $54 million in 4Q16 on record quarterly revenue of $1.1 billion, which grew 27.1% on-year from $854.6 million a year ago.

Revenue for the full year grew 39.3% to $4 billion from $2.9 billion in FY16, which Venture attributes to a year of excellent execution of customers’ programmes across the group’s diversified customer base, and further deepening of complementary and collaborative partnerships.

This resulted in profit before tax doubling to $443.7 million from the previous year.

Net margin for the full year grew to 9.3% from 6.3% in FY16.

As at end-2017, the group generated cash from operations of $500 million compared to $265.7 million a year ago, and registered an increase in working capital position arising from higher balances in trade receivables and inventories.

Shareholders’ funds grew to $2.2 billion compared to $2 billion a year ago, and net asset value (NAV) per share grew to $7.61 from $7.03 as at end-2016.

A final dividend of 60 cents has been proposed, representing a 20% increase over a prior year and to be paid on 31 May.

In its outlook, Venture says it remains confident it is well-placed to create significant value for the benefit of its partners in spite of expectations for the business environment to remain volatile.

The next leap forward will entail more intensive preparation and investment in the development of new engineering and advanced manufacturing capabilities, says the group, while a stronger focus is in place to strengthen Venture’s next-gen, globally connected “Clusters of Excellence” to position itself to better serve the major economic and growth regions of the world.
